Fillsens is a regenerated cellulose yarn. Its raw material is lyocell fiber. It is obtained from the cellulose of wood pulp from plants such as birch trees, eucalyptus, and poplar, through either wet or dry jet spinning methods. The US Federal Trade Commission defines Lyocell as a fiber consisting of cellulose precipitated from an organic solution in which no displacement of hydroxyl groups or formation of any chemical intermediates occurs.

Fillsens yarn is extremely soft and has an absorbent structure. Its most important characterized features are its higher absorbency compared to cotton, softer feel than silk, and cooler touch than linen. Due to its structure, it is a breathable fabric. Thanks to the thousands of microscopic channels on its surface, it first absorbs sweat from our body, then releases it into the air, allowing us to stay comfortable and dry. It transfers moisture very well and does not cause discomfort even when the body sweats.
